Art And Death 1989
In the mid 1980s Rick was was fascinated by what he thought was a relationship between passages in the Book Of Revelation from the New Testament Bible, prophecy from the Old Testament and the mysteries of the prehistoric monuments at Stonehenge and on Easter Island, and strange ancient patterns etched in the ground in South America. He began writing down some observations and ideas and then created a character named 'Arthur Pendragon' to help express these ideas in an underground comix-type format. The name came from old comic books which dealt with King Arthur and the Round Table stories. This poster depicts Arthur as an artist, in this case probably an alias for Rick, and the ever-looming issue of death.
